The history of Florida is a long
and fascinating tale. The Florida Heritage Collection contains
a wide variety of works detailing many different aspects
of this history. There are works on the Red Hills area of
Florida, the growth and evolution of many of Florida's most
significant cities and towns, including Miami, Palm Beach
and Jacksonville, and much more. This is probably one of
the most significant areas of the Florida Heritage Collection,
because it deatials the rich and complex history of the
state of Florida.
